A native of San Diego, California, Elliott Wulff moved to Tulsa in June of 2018 to study with renowned Bass-Baritone Peter Strummer, and is currently starting his new job as Music Director at Temple B'nai Israel in OKC.
His operatic roles have included “Speaker” in Die Zauberflöte, “Polyphemus” in Acis and Galatea, “Kecal” in Bartered Bride, “Dulcamara” in L’elisir d’Amore, “Captain Corcoran” in HMS Pinafore, “Figaro” in Le nozze di Figaro, and “Gianni Schicchi” in the opera of the same name. He appeared with Heartland Opera Theater in Puccini’s La Boheme in the roles of “Benoît” and “Alcindoro", and most recently appeared in Tulsa Opera’s production of Gianni Schicchi as “Ser Amantio”. Elliott has also been seen throughout the greater Tulsa area as a soloist and recitalist, both as a singer and pianist. He is starting his second year of Cantorial studies at the Academy for Jewish Religion California, and hopes to be ordained by 2027.
Elliott is honored to be at Temple B'nai Israel and is looking forward to continuing the rich musical tradition that is already so deeply entrenched in the congregation. He hopes to carefully preserve the existing musical legacy while also bringing new and vibrant melodies that will further enhance the spiritual life of the community.
Bob is a lifelong member of Temple B’nai Israel accepting the Executive Director position in the summer of 2021. His career has included extensive involvement in the construction, manufacturing and Real Estate industries throughout Oklahoma, perfectly suiting him for managing our 40,000 sq. ft. facility.
As Executive Director, Bob oversees day-to-day operations of the Temple and its building and grounds. Bob supports Temple members and programs in a variety of ways, including but not limited to: maintaining official Temple records, technology, live streaming services and events, supporting program set-up and supply needs, managing membership data and finances, and much more.
Married to his wife, Gina since 1988, they have two adult children living in Colorado and Texas. He enjoys travel, sports, music and family and was educated at Casady School and the University of Oklahoma.
Amanda joined the Temple staff in Fall of 2021 as an assistant in the Youth department and transitioned to her role as Sunday School Director at the beginning of 2024. In her current position, Amanda oversees all things related to Sunday School while collaborating with the other youth staff to foster a love of community and Judaism within our students.
Prior to moving from the Dallas area, where she grew up, to Oklahoma City in 2015, Amanda worked as a pediatric ICU nurse and team leader in her unit. She and her husband, Randy, have a blended family of five kids ranging from elementary school to college. Her two youngest are
active participants in youth education and programming.
As the Hebrew School Director, Ardis oversees Hebrew School education for our Temple youth. She is a firm believer in providing immersive and multi-modal educational activities that allow students and their families to experience living Jewishly rather than merely reading about how other people do it.
Prior to joining the staff at TBI, Ardis served the Jewish community in Oklahoma City as a Sunday School teacher and the senior care coordinator for the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City and developed homeschool programming for Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation.
Ardis is the proud mother of two adult sons and a daughter who is active in Sunday School and the Temple youth group, OKATY.
