Staff and Leadership

The Lead Teachers for our 3-year-old and Pre-K classes have at least a bachelor’s degree, and the Lead Teachers for our 2 and 2 ½-year-old classes have at least an associate’s degree or a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. Some teaching assistants have degrees, but one is not required for these positions. Our staff also have varying amounts of experience in public and private preschool settings. All teachers are required to have current CPR/First Aid training and a minimum of 12 clock hours of professional development training each year. 

While our goal is to attempt to meet the needs of each child, our staff, while trained in early childhood education practices, may not be able to meet the needs of some children who require special assistance. 

Staff Ratios: # of Teachers to # of Students
2-year-olds: 2 to 10
2 ½-year-olds: 2 to 11
3-year-olds: 1 to 8, classes with more than 8 students will have a teaching assistant
Pre-K: 1 to 11, classes may have a teaching assistant or floater
