A Two Community Dialogue for the Jewish and

African-American/Black Communities

Thursdays, January 9, 16, 23 & 30, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Jewish Federation is honored to partner with Langston University, Ralph Ellison Foundation, Respect Diversity Foundation, and Temple B’nai Israel for "A Two Community Dialogue", a special four-session series.

This series has been designed for people who identify as members of the Jewish and African-American/Black communities to be able to come together and practice sacred listening.

Session topics will include:

* Finding a place where we belong;
* Having tough conversations within our families and communities;
* Recognizing we are not all the same within our communities; and
* Memory and mourning around slavery, the Holocaust, racism, and anti-semitism.

These will be intense and meaningful conversations that will help us to understand and be understood - not just between communities, but also within the respective communities. You can get all the information about dates, times, and locations via the following registration link.

Dinner will be served. No charge to participate. RSVP required.
